Can you teach an old dog new tricks? Or is group therapy only for the Boomer generation? A new comedy, Warriors by Will Marchetti, explores group dynamics among several senior citizens involved in weekly therapy sessions led by their ultra-humanistic shrink. The colorful and diverse characters discuss life, modern times and common challenges of aging in a youth culture as they face their past and present concerns with alcoholism, often with hilarious results. Warm, funny and often moving, Warriors brings insight and a spirit of optimism to the audience as we root for these battle-scarred veterans of life who are practicing this new-fangled form of communication called “therapy”.
