In an increasingly globalised and interdependent world, it is crucial to have a working knowledge of International Relations. You will be introduced to the main theories used to explain war, peace, conflict and revolutions in the world. The topics explored are the history of the Cold War, 9/11 and the War on Terror, global inequality, humanitarian intervention and the main international organisations. Participants will also be provided with tools to analyse and understand current events from different theoretical perspectives.
