War of 1812 March 28, 2009

The 12th United States Infantry Regiment will host a recruiting party outside the historic Lanesville House, enlisting civilians to join the ranks of those that fought during the War of 1812. Period re-enactors will provide interpretation of the events leading to the War of 1812, and demonstrate camp life.
