October 18-21, 2007
(Rochester, NY – October 2, 2007) For four nights, Wandering, an outdoor video sound exhibit will be on display at Brighton Town Park trail. Filmmaker and video artist Sara Segerlin designed an imaginative story to unfold a quiet tale of the human experience in nature.
Within the woods the viewer wanders upon video projections glowing with a vibrancy of light and color. Images of water floating in mid-air and a hand emerging from the soil are from a collection of video stories from New Zealand. To set the mood of this journey Segerlin worked with musician Chuck Bianchi to further abstract the encounter of the space.
