Walt's Fascination with Outer Space July 23, 2011

Disney historian and author Jim Korkis will present ‘Walt’s Fascination with Outer Space,’ an hour-long program discussing Walt's interest in outer space and how he helped build support for the U.S. Space Program. Walt as a visionary and futurist, and his scientific and cultural contributions will also be examined and excerpts from the Disneyland television series will be shown. ‘Walt’s Fascination with Outer Space’ begins at 3pm in the Museum’s state-of-the-art theater; $10.00 for adult WDFM members ($7/child), and $12 for adult non-members ($9/child).
