Sydneys villages are Australias best sites for exploring our colonial heritage. In this series of four sessions we will look at Lachlan Macquaries influence on Sydneys colonial history and explore the same on foot. Colonial sites at Newcastle, La Perouse and the Lower North Shore include some superb examples of our heritage. The first meeting will take place at the Centre for Continuing Education, and the following two sessions will begin at the Town Hall steps, while the final session will began at Circular Quay.
