Walkin' Jim Stoltz, Montana-based folk artist, will perform a multi-media concert, "Forever Wild," at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 20th, at Peace United Methodist Church. He currently is on a concert tour sponsored by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy at schools located near the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. We’re lucky to have him stop by while on the tour. Families and children are welcomed to this concert!
With his deep resonant voice, he sings and tells stories about his travels in and love for wild places. His beautiful photos taken while hiking nearly 26,000 miles through North American wildlands are a backdrop for his music. He sings of clean rivers, mountains, moose, cougars and grizzly bears. He's a great self-taught guitarist who actually carries a guitar with him on his treks. Good thing -- it saved his life once!
