Walkin' and Chillin' February 19, 2011

Oh the weather outside may be chilly, but there's still plenty to see and explore in the Piedmont! A walk around outside will not only provide exercise, but also a chance to meet new people, and learn something about winter ecology, too! Our trip will be Redlair Farm, an awesome natural site on the South Fork River protected be a conservation easement ! Hot chocolate at the museum will wrap up the adventure. Participants should bring appropriate outerwear and a water bottle. Hikes may be moderate and have uneven terrain. For ages 7 and up; all children under 18 must have an accompanying adult. Please note that the trip is subject to cancellation due to in the event of inclement weather. Call 704-854-6676 by Monday, January 31 for reservations. Registration deadline is February 11.
