“Darfur/Darfur” is an internationally touring photography exhibit about the crisis and culture of the people of Darfur region in Western Sudan.
The 150 photographic images will be projected on the Glenbow Museum building façade facing Stephen Avenue mall with three powerful projectors every evening from 7:00pm -11:00pm.
The exhibit and related events, presented by the Afrikadey! festival society in partnership with Glenbow Museum, Alberta Global Forum and Calgary Public Library, will run from March 14-21, 2008.
The exhibit provides an avenue of informing Calgarians about world affairs through art. Hopefully this could motivate action to alleviate the sufferings of Darfuris and other people around the globe who are victims of wars.
