Voyages of the Beagle: an Interdisciplinary After School Art Program October 1, 2008

Leaving England on December 27, 1831, the HMS Beagle set out to conduct hydrograpic surveys around the perimeter of South American onto Sydney, Australia, Cape Town, South Africa and back to South America before arriving in England on October 2, 1836. The class will make maps, build model ships, study rocks, invent species and present their work as a collection in the Turchin Center.
