Conference to Explore the Effect of the Internet on Politics

This December, the Berkman Center at Harvard Law School will bring together political experts, activists, academics, bloggers, and interested citizens to discuss the effect of the internet on politics. The conference will take a skeptical look at the state of politics after the 2004 election and from an international perspective. Panels will focus on questions like:

- Has "citizenship" changed in the online era?
- Are online business models helpful guides for politics and political organizing?
- What international examples are promising?
- Did the web make a difference in the 2004 election?
