Volunteering for Young Professionals: Trail Restoration April 24, 2010

NJYP will be joining forces with Team Charity once again! We will be restoring a section of old trail that is to be abandoned after a reroute is completed. On this old section of trail we will be removing old steps and railings. Afterward we will install erosion control matting and be planting native shrubs and trees to help restore the area back to natural habitat.

Who Can Attend:
Anyone who is 21 to 39 years old. You do not need to be a Member of either organization but you must put down a deposit.

What to Bring:
Please wear work clothes and work shoes.
Bring a snack or a bagged lunch and plenty of water.
The work is slightly labor-intensive and dirty, but always fun and rewarding.
The equipment needed will be supplied.

Deposits:
Because they are relying on us we are asking that all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $9.24. The $9.24 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will be accepted (and deposits refunded) up until noon on the day before.
