VOLUNTEER! National Trails Day

Join us on the Trail for a National Trails Day tradition. Since 1998, REI has partnered with Portland Parks and Recreation for work in Forest Park; from ivy pulling, trail maintenance and bridge building. This year's projects include; building crib walls and bridges and trail maintenance and restoration.
WHEN: Saturday, June 7 from 8:30 AM to 1 PM
WHERE: NW 53rd Entrance.
WHAT: Trail work on Wildwood Trail at Wild Cherry and Birch Trails.
WHAT TO BRING: Long pants, sturdy shoes, gloves, water, snack
FUN FACTS:
REI will start your day with a continental breakfast. To reduce waste, bring your own cup.
Volunteers will receive an REI Volunteer t-shirt.
A sweepstakes will end the work day and all volunteers are eligible to win prizes from REI and partners.
