Volleyball: DU vs. North Texas September 26, 2009

Entering the 2009 season, Denver's volleyball squad is coming off the program's most successful season since becoming eligible for Division I competition, as they finished with a 25-7 overall record and their second consecutive Sun Belt Conference West Division Title. Its overall record marked the best record in program history through 32 matches, and its 16-1 record in Hamilton Gymnasium was the best mark at home since the program turned Division I.

The return of such a strong group of contributors did not go unnoticed by the coaches in the Sun Belt Conference, as DU was picked to finish second, behind New Orleans in the West Division.
