No two cities have had a bigger influence on electronic music since its invention.

Following on from their successful party of the same theme last year, the Void crew stay true to the original spirit and feeling of electronic music culture during this history lesson of electronic music.

To this very day, every night in venues all over the world playing dance music, records are played which owe their existence to the pioneering sound of Detroit Techno which first emerged in the late 80s. With the fall of the Berlin Wall several years later, the opening of the legendary Tresor club in Berlin in 1991 became a Mecca as East and West Europe came together to welcome Detroit's founding fathers of electronic music as regular visitors to the city.

And so, the Detroit-Berlin techno alliance was born, and continues to thrive and innovate to this day, its sound spawning thousands of imitations of varying quality.

Djs Shanghai_Ultra, Fish, and Nat Alexander will be showcase the finest music released by artists or labels originating from these two techno cities.
