Voices of the Earth Threatened Languages Poetry Reading January 11, 2009

This unique event presents poetry, song, and storytelling in threatened languages (50-90% of the world's languages can disappear during this century). Languages this year include Cheyenne, Yiddish, Cherokee, Scottish Gaelic, Keres, Nahuatl, Sesotho, Okinawan, Navajo, Quiche Maya, Shimaguchi, and Shigin poetry with Mishiko Pierce. Donations are requested and all proceeds go for furthering this event.
