Las Cruces, NM – Two NMSU music recitals will be held at the Cultural Center in the month of November. There will be a Masters Recital on Friday, November 12 at 6:30pm and a Voice Recital on Sunday, November 14 at 5pm. Both recitals are free and open to the public.
Saxophone player John Swann will be hosting his Masters Recital with a Saxophone Quartet and Steve Helmreich accompanying them on piano. They will be playing Rhapsodie, by Claude Debussy, Fuzzy Bird Sonata, by Takashi Yoshimatsu, Shadowing Nick, by Salvatore Macchia, and Quatuor by Alfred Desenclos.
Megan Chavez will be singing on Sunday, November 14 at 5pm. Chavez is a graduating senior in the New Mexico State University’s Music Department.
The Branigan Cultural Center is located at the north end of the Downtown Mall in Las Cruces at 501 N. Main Street.
