Sunaada Art Foundation is celebrating the conferring of Bharata Ratna on Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. Vocal recitals by Pandit Madhava Gudi - the direct and immediate disciple of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Dr. Nagaraj Rao Havaldar - Disciple of Pandit Madhava Gudi, Gayatri Gudi and Omkarnath Havaldar, the fourth generation of Joshiji’s tradition. Tabla Solo by Pandit Samir Chaterjee of Farukabad Gharana. Semi-lecture demonstration on Panditji’s music, using some of his rare recordings and narration by Pandit Madhav Gudi.
