VMFA Exhibition: Darkroom: Photography and New Media in South Africa since 1950 August 21, 2010

This ground-breaking exhibition features the work of 16 South African photographers and video artists from four generations including those who primarily lived and worked in South Africa during the apartheid era (1948-1994), as well as younger figures who have gained international prominence since apartheid's end.
