Viva La Musica! Masses for Peace May 16, 2009

Hear the choir that is about to sing at New York’s Carnegie Hall! Viva la Musica performs Masses for Peace at the historic Carrington Hall in Redwood City. Vivaldi’s Gloria is effervescent and impassioned. René Carlos Ochoa’s Misa Del Pueblo is full of joy: Sacred music that will have you dancing in the aisles! The moving A Mass for Peace, by Karl Jenkins, gets its name from the anonymous 15th century song, The Armed Man.
