'Viva Cuba' tells the story of the friendship between a girl from a wealthy family and a boy from a poor family. Their mothers forbid them from hanging out together, but that's not enough to keep them apart. When they learn that the girl's mother plans to leave Cuba, they set out to do what they can to prevent being separated.
