Helen Lee is an artist, educator, glassblower, and graphic designer living in Oakland, CA. She holds a BSAD in Architecture from MIT and an MFA in Glass from RISD, and currently teaches in the Sculpture Department at CCA. Vitreous Typography is a collection of works that play with the intersection of typography and blown glass. Lee is interested in exploring language as a somatic experience through these investigations of typographic glass.
