You are invited to attend a benefit for Visual Aid at the ArtZone 461 Grand Opening celebration. San Francisco's newest fine art gallery will donate 20% of designated Opening Day sales to Visual Aid.
Located at 461 Valencia Street, between 15th and 16th Streets, ArtZone 461 features 3,000 square feet of exhibition space, 14 ft. ceilings, a 100 ft. long brick wall, an extensive Art library, a generous flat file area, plenty of natural light and a friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. ArtZone 461 assists institutions and all levels of collectors in developing a personal style and articulating private space.
Owners Steven Lopez and Eric Koehler bring a generation of experience to ArtZone 461, as collectors, gallery owners and partners (since 1982). Lopez is the former owner of the historic Charles Campbell Gallery (1972-2008). Building on this foundation, ArtZone 461 is poised to be a leader in the artistic expansion of the multi-cultural aesthetic exchange now thriving in the City's Mission District.
Between Opening Day and July 26, 2008 a selection of up to 100 works will be available in ArtZone's side Gallery and 20% of those sales will be donated to Visual Aid.
The Grand Opening event on June 22 and the promotion until July 26, will benefit Visual Aid, the Bay Area nonprofit arts organization committed to encouraging artists with life-threatening illnesses to continue their creative work, by providing Vouchers, an ArtBank for free art supplies, an active Exhibition Program, Lecture Series, Image Archives and community. This sets the stage for an ongoing commitment by ArtZone 461 to engage art collectors and community alike in embracing Visual Aid's goal of Keeping Art Alive!
