On March 12th and 13th the third annual Tucson Festival of Books returns with an expanded lineup of authors in the most popular literary genres.
Exciting news for foodies: the Culinary Area, sponsored by Arizona Public Media (AZPM), will host cooking demos with Daisy Martinez of PBS/Food Network, Steve Raichlen of PBS/Primal Grill, and Barbara Fairchild, former editor-in-chief of Bon Appetit Magazine and author of the new “Bon Appetit Desserts.” Such an array of chefs, food writers and culinary experts will be present that the event could be called the “Festival of Cooks!”
There will also be panel discussions, including “Critics Table: The Power of the Restaurant Review,” and several workshops for aspiring food writers.
