The museum is located in a restored 1904 Andrew Carnegie library building. Exhibits include an extensive photographic collection depicting over 100 years of Mendota area history, the Wild Bill Hickok Collection, three Western Cottage organs and a Carpenter organ manufactured in Mendota in late 1800s. Also included are over 5000 photographs and items of memorabilia from the past 150 years. See a medical exhibit of items from (early 1920s) Drs. Cook offices, and a gift shop.
