Be sure to take advantage of Harbourfront Centre’s FREE all-ages programming during Winterfest on Toronto’s Waterfront from November 24 to December 16 (weekends only) for free fun family activities including concerts, film screenings, a scavenger hunt, activities, storytelling, and a holiday marketplace as well as ice-skating activities on Toronto’s favourite outdoor rink. Every weekend in December, families are invited to enjoy a variety of Skate Culture events highlighting (and celebrating) everyone’s favourite winter pastime. Tucked away behind York Quay Centre and set against the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario, the city’s most scenic rink awaits. Harbourfront Centre’s Natrel® Rink is open daily from 10am – 10pm; Friday and Saturday to 11pm. No skates? Harbourfront Centre rents them and helmets too. Saturday, December 15, one of Toronto’s hottest DJs will put the beat in your blades at Harbourfront Centre’s DJ Skate Night.

Join us for family programming including a scavenger hunt, storytelling and hands-on activities in Miss Lou’s Room each Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm; Family Film Feature in the Studio Theatre on Saturday December 8 and 15 from 2pm to 4pm; and Big Bands in the Lakeside Terrace on Sunday December 9 and 16 from 2pm to 4pm.
