A celebration of song and dance produced by and starring Broadway legend and two-time Tony Award Nominee Vivian Reed,launched its North American tour here in Toronto.In addition to Ms. Reed, the VIRTUOSITY Company includes the phenomenal “triple threat” performers Carleigh Bettiol, Angela Brydon, Krisha Marcano, Ryan Murray, Austin Owen, Destan Owens and Jason Staten. VIRTUOSITY will showcase the musical talents of each of these artists and allow them to show the breadth and significance of their singing, dancing and acting range within different genres of music, movement and dance. In VIRTUOSITY, each song, or combination of songs, is a short story in itself that communicates the various aspects of love. Backed by a four-piece band, the song list of both original and well known music from the likes of Billie Holiday, the Isley Brothers, Smokey Robinson and even Guiseppe Verdi provides the stories, while the performances provide the passion.
