Virtuosi of Houston Holds Eleventh Annual Concerto Competition February 6, 2010

Virtuosi of Houston, the City’s youth chamber orchestra, consisting of gifted musicians ages 11 to 18, will participate in the Eleventh Annual Virtuosi of Houston/Immanuel and Helen B. Olshan Foundation Concerto Competition at the Virtuosi of Houston Studio in Memorial City Mall. The young musicians will compete for scholarship awards totaling $10,250. In addition, the first-place winners in the strings and woodwind divisions will be invited to perform as soloists for Virtuosi of Houston’s concert on April 5 in Zilkha Hall. The competition is open to the public.
