Virginia Symphony: an Afternoon at the Museum March 6, 2011

More than 100 years ago, famous Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky created 'Pictures at an Exhibition,' inspired by paintings and drawings by one of his dearest friends. Now, the VSO helps the audience re-create these pictures in their imaginations by playing excerpts of Mussorgsky's work arranged for orchestra.
