Violin and Cello Recital with Todor Pelev, violin & Roger Lebow, cello September 30, 2011

These two acclaimed Southern California musicians will perform music by Bach, Britten, Glière, and Kodály.

Bulgarian native, and well-known to Southern California audiences, Todor Pelev has performed from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to the California Theater, home of the San Bernardino Symphony where he is concertmaster. His solo recitals and broadcasts have taken him to Bulgaria, Japan, Italy, Russia and beyond.

A familiar figure in Los Angeles’ musical landscape, for a decade Roger Lebow was principal cellist of the LA Mozart Orchestra. These days you’ll most often find him in recital, or with the LA Opera and other local groups. He can be heard on many movie soundtracks and has soloed at numerous music festivals.
