Vintage Theatre presents “Bedroom Farce” January 7 through February 6 at Vintage Theatre, 2119 E 17th Ave in Denver. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 - $25 on Friday and Saturday evenings; $15 - $20 Sunday matinees. Trevor and Susannah, whose marriage is on the rocks, inflict their miseries on their nearest and dearest, three couples whose own relationships are tenuous at best. Taking place sequentially in the three beleaguered couples' bedrooms during one endless Saturday night of co-dependence and dysfunction, beds, tempers and domestic order are ruffled, leading all the players to a hilariously touching epiphany.

The cast, under the direction of Linda Williams, includes Anne Smith Myers (Delia), Dan Wright (Ernest), Nathan Raymond (Trevor), Johanna Jaquith (Susannah), Zach Shotwell (Malcolm), Stephanie Schmidt (Kate), Dan Bray (Nick) and Kelly Reeves (Jan)

Sir Alan Ayckbourn is a popular and prolific English playwright. He has written and produced 73 full-length plays with more than 40 having subsequently been produced in the West End, at the Royal National Theatre or by theRoyal Shakespeare Company. Some of his major successes include Absurd Person Singular, Communicating Doors,Woman in Mind, House & Garden and Private Fears in Public Places . His plays have won numerous awards, including seven London Evening Standard Awards. They have been translated into over 35 languages and are performed on stage and television throughout the world. Several of his plays have been staged on Broadway, attracting two Tony awards one in 2009 Tony For Best Revival Of A Play (The Norman Conquests) and in 2010 the recipient of a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.
