U Street wine destination Vinoteca continues to educate Washington on the world of wine with its new "Early Spring Wine Class Series" starting March 12th. Led by Vinoteca sommelier and local winemaster Tim Galvin, the series of wine classes will explore the "paso-bilities" of Central CA's next "It' wine region, discover lesser-known American wine destinations, and explain why Pinot Noir is the "diva" of the wine world.
Tuesday, April 2: "USA! USA! USA! Wines from states other than California, Oregon, or Washington"
American wines receive their fair share of recognition, but Vinoteca is set out to showcase wines from states other than the well-known California, Oregon and Washington.
All wine classes are $40 per person plus tax and include a tasting of 5-6 wines, food pairings and a $5 gift card to the restaurant.
Space is very limited and reservations are encouraged as soon as possible as seats fill very quickly. Any person who registers for all three classes and the wine dinner will receive a $5 discount on each event. To register for either the classes or wine dinner, please contact Vinoteca at (202) 332-9463 or at wine@vinotecadc.com.
