Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro is excited to continue its popular monthly “World Tour” dinner series throughout 2010. The Spain and Portugal World Tour dinner will be held on Saturday, February, 20th. For the dinner, Chef Bo has created an authentic Spanish/Portuguese menu for the evening that captures the countries’ explosive tastes. Showcasing a giant 3 foot wide paella pan on the outdoor furnace, guests will enjoy Spain’s national dish and one of their most beloved culinary traditions. Chef Bo has also created a tapas menu featuring dishes such as Fennel dusted fried mussels with dill dipping sauce and Potatoes and Chorizo cooked in tomato broth, with prices ranging from $6-$9. General Manager/Sommelier Jason Meringolo has also hand-picked selections of the countries’ world-class wines that pair well with the different cuisines- wine flights are available for $15- and the classic Sangria will be served with fresh fruit. Live entertainment will fill the room and transport guests to the Spanish region. Reservations for the Spain/Portugal World Tour dinner are recommended and can be made between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
