Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro’s next stop for the popular “Vinifera’s World Tour” dinner series is France. On Saturday, June 26th, diners will feel as if they are enjoying their dinner in Paris or on the French Riviera.
Chef Bo Palker’s menu consists of small portions, appetizer-sized dishes, perfect for sharing with friends and family. The menu includes Bouillabaisse, a fish soup containing vegetables; Frog Legs, a norm to the European lifestyle; Foie Gras; a French delicacy that dates back to ancient times; and Pate Au Pheasant, perfectly cooked for a taste of French Cuisine. For a true European culinary experience, guests can enjoy their meal on the outdoor patio if weather permits. In addition, Sommelier/General Manager Jason Meringolo has created flights of wine from France that pair well with the dishes.
“Vinifera’s World Tour” is a monthly dinner series that started in 2009 and will continue throughout 2010 due to its immense popularity. Upcoming destinations include the Pacific Northwest on July 24th. Guests who attend the dinners will receive a Vinifera passport and a stamp for the specific country/region featured at the dinner. Once patrons attend three of “Vinifera’s World Tour” dinners and collect the relevant stamps, they will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win an overnight stay at The Westin Reston Heights and breakfast for two at Vinifera.
Reservations for “Vinifera’s World Tour” are recommended and can be made between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. To make reservations please call 703-234-3550 or visit www.viniferabistro.com.
