BRING A FRIEND, SOME PAPER, SOMETHING TO DRAW WITH AND LEAVE YOUR INHIBITIONS BEHIND.
ESPECIALLY TARGETED TO THOSE WHO SAY THEY CANNOT DRAW THE FIGURE.

Mona has been drawing the figure for over 20 years professionally. Her work is exhibited at the Lawrence Galleries and the Oregon Ballet Theatre. she has appeared on PBS Oregon Art Beat and teaches privately.

Capturing the movement of a figure has been my ongoing pursuit of happiness for over 15 years. I frequently visit ballet and contemporary dance companies and sketch at rehearsal to gather inspiring gestures that are later used for canvas work or quick ink studies. Portland, Oregon seems to be an ideal setting for this artist with it's affordable warehouse studio space and outstanding dance companies on the west coast from California up through Vancouver B.C. Private students are coming on board with their wonderful interpretations to the basics I present them. Now it is my hope to add yet another aspect marketing what I do by working my way into selling small works on line. more on that soon.
