Vincent Dance Theatre
Direction and Design by Charlotte Vincent
Set amongst piles of wooden chairs, with a huge chandelier hanging overhead, Broken Chords is a darkly humorous look at love and loss by a multi-tasking, multi-national ensemble of performers.
Shifting uncomfortably between the bleakly comic and the beautifully tragic, Broken Chords chronicles the intimate relationships that shape our lives. Humour, exquisite dancing and a sublime live soundtrack thread together to form this moving and chaotic production.
Intense, passionate and heartbreaking in its honesty, Broken Chords represents Vincent Dance Theatre’s coming of age as a company that has consistently surprised, challenged and delighted audiences for over ten years.
Performed in 2006/7 by Rachel Krische (UK), Aurora Lubos (Poland), Janusz Orlik (Poland), Darren Anderson (Australia), Eleanor McDonald (UK), Patrycja Kujawska (Poland) and Stefano Folgher (France).
