Villanova is a crossroads of rock riffs, hip-hop beats, and soulful vocals that come together into a purely unique sound that they can safely call their own. Villanova's lead singer and guitarist Brian Conner, has embedded himself perfectly with bassist Bobby Dredd, drummer Jeremy Finesse Roberson and DJ Able One to create an unusual blend of danceable jams, hard driving rock songs and soulfully written ballads. Though Villanova's songs are radio friendly, each song is meant to be rocked live and that is exactly what Villanova will do, rock. Ten Toes Up is a rhythm driven band drawing from influences like the Allman Brothers and other dual-drumming bands. From jazz, jam, latin, and pentecostal influences emerged a sound that has been described as a little southern rock, a little jam band, and a lot of heart and soul. Ten Toes Up plays a huge array of covers that both keeps the audience jumping and highlights the bands musical ability.
