Erotic form, ecstatic movement pulse through Gwylym Cano’s short films: A perfect lover’s prelude.
The Crossroads Theater presents "Viewer Indiscretion Advised" a screening of nine of Gwylym Cano’s “Cine-Poetics”; including new works "Vegas Beauty Mark", "To Write" and "One Thousand Year Old Sex Goddess".
"Vegas Beauty Mark" puts viewers into the minds and bodies of a gang of women who insist that only outlaws are truly alive.
"To Write" – a collaboration with the acclaimed old school Denver poet, the late Don Becker – investigates the spark in us that flames Art.
"In One Thousand Year Old Sex Goddess" a Meso-American Venus struts her stuff.
Cano’s hard-edged impressionism illuminates contemporary urban smogscapes with the subversive blaze of universes in orgasm. Also screening: "Ovideo Lovepoems" 1-3 "El Alma" and "Purple Twiligh"t.
Crossroads Theatre is located in the heart of Denver’s historic Five Points district, next to Blackberries Coffee Shop.
