With the advancement of technology, came a whole new kind of play: video games. In conjunction with Kid Stuff: Great Toys from Our Childhood, the History Center presents a complementary exhibit of these more modern-day play things, marking key developments in arcade games, video consoles, and computer game technology. This exhibit illustrates the importance and relevance of these "toys," and explores gaming's history, as well as its cultural and sociological influences – past, present, and future.
The History Center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
