Video Screening: Donna Szoke - ‘Canoe’ April 11, 2012

Canoe is a site specific animation of 1800 individually drawn frames. In the final animated image, the canoeist is barely visible, seamlessly melded to the moving water and sky. It commemorates the official renaming of the body of water surrounding Vancouver back to its original name, the Salish Sea.
