"40yearsvideoart.de: Digital Heritage" focuses on saving, maintaining, and mediating the cultural heritage of Video Art, one the most influential art forms of the twentieth century.
This comprehensive project is presented and supported by ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, K21 Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen/Düsseldorf, Kunsthalle Bremen, Lenbachhaus Munich, and the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig.
The program is curated by Kathy Rae Huffman and includes works by
Klaus vom Bruch, Nan Hoover, Korpys/Löffler, Marcel Odenbach, Klaus Rinke, Prof.Ulrike Rosenbach37. Wolfgang Stoerchle, Ulay/ Uwe Laysiepen and Ursula Wevers
Kathy Rae Huffman is an independent curator, currently based between Berlin and Los Angeles, and the founder of FACES, an international online community for women media artists.
