February 14-May 1, 2007 (Wed-Sat): Victorians’ Secrets: A 19th-Century Underwear Exhibit 10 AM-3:30 PM
From heavy crinolines to elegant corsets, we’ll take you through the history and changes in 19th-century underwear. Chemises, drawers, pantalettes, and garters abound! See beautiful hoop skirts, multi-layered petticoats, and unique Victorian bustles…learn all about the Victorians’ secrets. We dare you to try on a corset!
