Victorian Festival - Northville, Michigan September 17, 2009

Victorian Festival is a great weekend. The weekend starts with a parade in downtown Northville, MI of people dressed in period dress - specifically Victorian outfits. The town is alive with excitement as friends and family join in this event. The streets are lined with people 2 deep usually - Children sit on the curb and wait for candy passed out by the parade participants. The weekend event is supported by local town folks, churches and schools. It has a small town feel and makes you wish the old days were here again. The town has food, booths from local organizations, small town rides and apple items for the fall season.
