VFI 70th Anniversary Gala Benefit February 12, 2007

Vocational Foundation, Inc. (VFI), New York City’s oldest educational and job training program for disadvantaged youth will hold its 70th anniversary gala benefit on February 12th at the Copacabana.

VFI will honor Camille Chwalek, former VFI Board Chair; Derrick Cephas, President and CEO of Amalgamated Bank; and The New York State Association of Community Developers. Hosted by Maurice DuBois of CBS 2, the gala will feature cocktails, dinner, dancing, a silent auction and a special performance by the cast of the Broadway smash hit Tarzan. Presenting an award will be NYC Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr.
