Bradford Veterans’ Day 2011

A variety of free family entertainment is offer at this Veterans’ Day.
The day starts with at 11am with a Drumhead service held on Centenary Square. The afternoon will be filled with live music ranging from Brass to Swing.
11:45 Wharfedale 1224 Cadet Band - will be performing live
12:30 Jon Taylor Swing Band - will have your fingers snapping
1:45 Nightflyers Big Band – will you be able to resist a dance
2:45 Bradford Metropolitan Concert Band – playing everything from light classics to hits from the movies
3:45 Drighlington Brass Band – a fantastic traditional brass band.
If you are feeling hungry then the Army Field kitchen is serving hot food straight from their tent. Visit the Veterans marquee discover stories from the men and women who served in the armed services. Also on display will be vintage vehicles, museums exhibition and the Roll of Honour. There is a climbing wall for anyone that feels more energetic.
