Venice, CA – In conjunction with his exhibit RARE PLACES IN A RARE LIGHT, landscape photographer Robert Turner will present a talk with projected images as part of the G2 Gallery’s ongoing Music and Lecture Series. Turner will offer insights into the art of capturing ephemeral images of beauty and drama in nature. He will share anecdotes about the circumstances that led to many of the pictures in the show and discuss the process he has created for attaining nuances of light and color onto film. Turner will also talk about the formative experiences in the natural world and the visual arts that led him to a career in fine art photography. Many of these experiences continue to drive his pursuit of photographs that inform the soul and convey his deep belief in the value of wild places.
