Monday, Jan 18, repeat performances at 11am & 12pm
Crowden Music Center and San Francisco Chamber Orchestra encourage audiences to get up and dance in Very First Concerts, a FREE classical series designed with the youngest listeners in mind.
Each concert features a central theme, short selections, tumbling mats for fidgety toddlers, and hands-on musical activities geared toward families with young children (infants to 7 year-olds).
On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, join us for a "Singalong with Music and Song"! Who doesn't like to sing, after all? This will be a celebration of the very first (and very best) instrument, the human voice.
Repeat performances at 11am and 12pm are FREE to the entire community!
"Take off your seatbelts and let your youngster wriggle, squirm, and dance to first-rate classical music. We've designed this series for very young listeners, and to allow parents to escape the restrictions of a traditional concert hall. Discover-or rediscover-the joys of live classical music with us!"
-SFCO Music Director Benjamin Simon
