Many frogs and salamanders depend on a unique habitat called a vernal pool to complete their interesting and complex life cycles. Spend the evening learning the natural history of local frogs and salamanders. Following an indoor presentation, we will hike to a nearby vernal pool to observe spotted salamanders, wood frogs, and other animals partaking in their spring courtship. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=832-IP11SP1 for more information.
