Verlezza Dance Concert: New Tales, Old Tales, Snow Tails December 6, 2008

The concert will feature new choreographic ventures, old repertory favorites and a concert form of excerpts from the companys wintertime tradition Snow Tails.

Artistic Director, Sabatino Verlezzas Songs for the Jaguar (1988), Associate Artistic Director, Barbara Allegra Verlezza's Lunar Leap (2006) and Broken Voices (2008), and faculty/company member Sabatino A. Verlezzas Between the Two (2008) will be performed by the company members and guest dancers from Kent State University, where Ms. Verlezza is on faculty.

Snow Tails (2005) returns as a suite of excerpts from the original story ballet that embodies the joyous spirit of the holiday season, Wilma Salisbury, The Plain Dealer, created for the School of Verlezza Dance by Sabatino Verlezza and Tracy Pattison in 2005. New works that will be included in the suite of student offerings, representing the future dancers of Verlezza Dance
