About The Event:
Many are probably still saying good riddance to 2009. 2010, however, seems to be an entirely different story. We have survived the abyss of the financial crisis; the stock market has rebounded; even housing prices seem to be ...at least not dropping. Will 2010 bring back the exuberance of the pre-crisis years? What sectors will be the darlings of investors? What will happen to IT and software in light of the excitement in Energy, anything Green, and now, health care?
Venture capitalists have always been a barometer of things to come. In this first event of 2010, CSPA is proud to bring together a distinguished panel of VCs, and ask them to examine their crystal balls. Where will VCs put their money in 2010? What sectors are hot? What are not? What will valuations look like? What advice can they give entrepreneurs?
As is now our tradition, we will begin with a presentation of the latest MoneyTree Survey* from PricewaterhouseCoopers. Join us for an informative and insightful evening as we kick off 2010 in high gear.
(The MoneyTree Survey is a quarterly study of venture capital investment activity in the United States, conducted as a collaboration between PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Thomson Venture Economics and the National Venture Capital Association.)
